Welcome to Vardhman Hospital
The problem of avoidable blindness rapidly escalating remained a major cause of concern in the Indian healthcare scenario. In a developing country the government also cannot meet the health needs of all owing to a number of challenges like growing population, inadequate infrastructure, low per capita income, aging population, diseases in epidemic proportions & illiteracy.
Realizing this, "Bhagwan Mahavir Swami Dharmarth Samiti" wished to establish an alternate health care modal that could supplement the efforts of the government and also be self supporitng in 1997.

What We Also Do
Glaucoma
Glaucoma is a disease of the eye in which fluid pressure within the eye rises; if left untreated, the patient may lose vision and even become blind.
AMBLYOPIA
Amblyopia is a vision development disorder in which an eye fails to achieve normal visual acuity, even with prescription eyeglasses or contact lenses. Also called lazy eye, amblyopia begins during infancy and early childhood.
CATARACT
A cataract is a clouding of the lens in the eye which leads to a decrease in vision. Cataracts often develop slowly and can affect one or both eyes.
Allergy & the eye
They can make your eyes red, itchy, burning, and watery, and cause swollen eyelids. The same treatments and self-help strategies that ease nasal allergy symptoms work for eye allergies, too.
Corneal Disease
Corneal disease is a serious condition that can cause clouding, distortion, scarring and eventually blindness. There are many types of corneal disease. The three major types are keratoconus, Fuchs' endothelial dystrophy and bullous keratopathy.
Orbital Cavity
The orbital cavity (eye socket) is the bony cavity that encloses the bulb and accessory organs of the eye, including the ocular muscles, lacrimal glands, nerves, vessels, and retrobulbar adipose tissue.
Refractive error
Refractive error, also known as refraction error, is a problem with focusing light accurately onto the retina due to the shape of the eye.
Retinal diseases
Retinal diseases vary widely, but most of them cause visual symptoms. Retinal diseases can affect any part of your retina, a thin layer of tissue on the inside back wall of your eye.
SQUINT EYE
A squint, or strabismus, is a condition in which the eyes do not align properly. One eye turns inwards, upwards, downwards, or outwards, while the other one focuses at one spot.
Uveitis
Uveitis and eye inflammation. Uveitis is inflammation of the middle layer of the eyeball, which consists of the iris, ciliary body, and choroid.
Vitrectomy
Vitrectomy is a surgical procedure undertaken by a specialist where the vitreous humor gel that fills the eye cavity is removed to provide better access to the retina.
Tympanoplasty
Tympanoplasty is the surgical operation performed for the reconstruction of the eardrum (tympanic membrane) and/or the small bones of the middle ear (ossicles).
Mastoidectomy
A mastoidectomy is a surgical procedure that removes diseased mastoid air cells. The mastoid is the part of your skull located behind your ear.
Septoplasty
Septoplasty (SEP-toe-plas-tee) is a surgical procedure to correct a deviated septum — a displacement of the bone and cartilage that divides your two nostrils.
FESS
Functional endoscopic sinus surgery is a minimally invasive technique used to restore sinus ventilation and normal function.
Tonsillectomy
A tonsillectomy was once a common procedure to treat infection and inflammation of the tonsils (tonsillitis).
Adenoidectomy
Adenoidectomy is a surgical procedure performed to remove the adenoids. Adenoids are a mass of lymphoid tissue located behind the nasal passages.
